Bandages

Integumentary remedy.

Bandages is a standard treatment item in Animal Hospital (Anomaly), documented as an integumentary (skin-related) remedy used for two symptoms: Bleeding and Surgery. It's also one of the standard items — alongside Medkit, IV Drops, and Medicine — that can be called for during Room 8's surgery mini-game, layered in with that room's five exclusive treatments. Like most of the base treatment roster, it has no standalone wiki page of its own and isn't sold in the Supplies Shop — you get it through normal patient diagnosis.

Bandages is a treatment medicine, not a purchasable item — it's given to patients during diagnosis. See the full symptom-to-medicine table for how it fits alongside every other treatment.

Tips & Strategy

  • Bandages covers two separate symptoms — Bleeding and Surgery — so double-check which one a diagnosis is actually calling for before applying it.
  • It's not purchasable in the Supplies Shop; it comes from diagnosing patients directly.
  • It's one of the standard items (with Medkit, IV Drops, and Medicine) that Room 8 surgery can ask for alongside that room's five exclusive treatments.
  • Bandages shares the 'integumentary' treatment category with Ointment, though Ointment treats Rashes and is the only treatment that can skip diagnosis entirely when used on a patient put out by hand after burning.
  • Room 8's surgery timer only starts after the first IV Drops is given, then runs through four single-item turns and a fifth turn needing three items at once — Bandages can be one of those calls on any turn.
  • Keep a spare Bandages in your carry slot if you're heading into the Emergency Wing, since Surgery is one of its two possible treatment targets there.
